Senior Brand Planner
Overview
The Senior Brand Planner will take the lead role in driving strategic thinking on one of the agency’s largest accounts. He/she will be the source of vital insights into the market, the client, and the consumer and be instrumental in the creative process.
Responsibilities:
- Building rapport with account management, media – and most importantly, creative.
- Passionately presenting and defending your views – while paying attention to those of others – with the goal of attaining the ultimate truth.
- Being skilled in the art of persuasion.
- Being analytical and intuitive in interpreting information from a variety of sources and effectively presenting it to colleagues and clients.
- Possessing a self-confidence that allows you to speak with conviction, not ego
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of planning experience on significant, creative brands; with experience as the lead planner on some of them.
- Success in building strong, trusted relationships with creative.
- Demonstrated ability to write briefs that give clear direction to creative.
- Experience managing primary and secondary research initiatives and teasing out the most salient insights.
- Experience evaluating the effects of communications in the marketplace.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced education required
Salary range $76,000 - $96,000
