Overview
Stelic is seeking a Senior Portfolio Project Scheduler to support scheduling and project controls activities across a diverse portfolio of projects, clients, and programs. The Senior Portfolio Project Scheduler will work closely with project managers, VPs, and project controls staff to help maintain project schedules, track progress, support reporting, and ensure schedule information is accurate and organized. This position provides exposure to multiple project types and clients while offering opportunities for training, mentorship, and professional growth.
This role is fully remote, with collaboration occurring through virtual coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the developing, updating, and maintaining Primavera P6 schedules for multiple projects within a broader portfolio.
• Support schedulers and project controls staff in collecting schedule updates from project managers, engineers, and team members.
• Help maintain schedule structure, including work breakdown structures, activity coding, calendars, milestones, and logic relationships.
• Review schedule updates for basic accuracy, completeness, and consistency with established scheduling practices.
• Support weekly and monthly reporting by preparing schedule data, progress summaries, variance notes, and basic schedule health metrics.
• Identify upcoming milestones, delayed activities, critical path items, and potential schedule risks.
• Document schedule changes, update narratives, meeting notes, and supporting project controls records.
• Participate in virtual coordination meetings with project teams and internal stakeholders.
• Support baseline schedule development, schedule revisions, and basic change analysis under the guidance of senior staff.
• Help maintain organized and auditable schedule files, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling templates, reports, and internal processes.
Requirements
• 5 to 9 years of professional scheduling experience on project-based work.
• Demonstrated experience supporting multiple projects or programs simultaneously.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Experience with portfolio-level reporting, analytics, or project controls preferred.
• Understanding of project sequencing and schedule logic.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain schedule insights, risks, and impacts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
