Why this role is important to us

Axioma (a SimCorp company) is currently looking for a skilled Institutional Sales Professional to join our expanding team, introducing Axioma’s innovative analytics solutions and services to new and existing clients. The position will be based in New York and will require travel to client and prospect locations. It's required for potential hires to have shown meaningful attainment of sales metrics, strategic development of pipeline projects, and effective relationship management through direct, practical involvement.

What you will be responsible for

  • Ensure efficient sales growth to meet annual targets
  • Target and acquire new accounts through prospecting and networking
  • Identify new sales opportunities and initiate and manage sales dialog with these contacts
  • Articulate Axioma and SimCorp’s value proposition to clients
  • Solve customers’ challenges by applying a combination of technology, business, interpersonal and professional experience
  • Oversee entire sales process, including negotiating and closing sales contracts
  • Gather product feedback from customers and relay those needs to Product Management
  • Regularly report to management on performance vs. sales goals

What we value

  • Display a keen ability to undertake activities with enthusiasm and an optimistic mindset
  • Experience selling, with a deep understanding of various investment processes, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Class investing (7+ years)
  • Familiarity with applying quantitative methods for analysis and decision-making purposes
  • A genuine interest in assisting the client/prospect to solve their business problems
  • Ability to balance long-term business relationship building with clients, with revenues for the Company in the short term
  • MBA, CFA, FRM or other advanced degree in mathematics or finance highly beneficial
  • Travel: 25%-40% Willingness to travel as required (25-40%)
  • Flexibility to attend SimCorp office 3x/week as per our hybrid policy

For NYC only: The salary range for this position is $139,495 - 200,000 USD/yr. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
