About Havenly Brands

Havenly Brands is a family of home design and furnishings companies united by a single mission: to make beautiful, personalized home design accessible to everyone. Our portfolio includes Havenly, Interior Define, Burrow, The Citizenry, The Inside, and St. Frank – spanning AI-powered interior design services, custom furniture, and globally-sourced artisan home goods.

With nearly a million designs created and a team of expert interior designers powered by cutting-edge technology, including AI visualization and 3D rendering tools, we're transforming how people discover, design, and furnish their homes. Headquartered in Denver with offices in New York, we're building the future of home at the intersection of technology, design, and consumer experience.

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to shape the experiences that help millions of people create homes they love. You'll work across Havenly’s AI-powered interior design platform and eCommerce experiences for our portfolio of brands, partnering with Product and Engineering to discover, design, and deliver solutions that move customers and metrics.

This role is highly strategic. You won't just push pixels, you'll influence product direction, facilitate alignment across leadership and cross-functional teams, and help define what great design looks like at Havenly Brands and across our industry. You'll report directly to the SVP of Product and Technology, with visibility and impact at the highest levels of the organization.

We're building the next generation of AI-native interior design tools. We want someone who's already using AI as a force multiplier in their own workflow, and who’s excited to imagine what’s possible when machine learning meets interior design.

What You'll DoDesign End-to-End Experiences
  • Lead the design of consumer-facing products across our AI interior design platform and eCommerce experiences—from early exploration through launch and iteration
  • Translate complex customer needs into intuitive, elegant solutions that balance business goals with user delight
  • Create and maintain design systems that scale across our portfolio of brands
  • Deliver high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs with speed and craft
Discover and Validate
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to identify high-impact opportunities through customer research, data analysis, and competitive insight
  • Champion the customer perspective while navigating business priorities and technical constraints
  • Conduct and synthesize user research—interviews, usability tests, concept/prototype evaluations—to inform design decisions
Lead Strategically
  • Communicate design vision and rationale to leadership, cross-functional partners, and stakeholders with clarity and conviction
  • Facilitate strategic collaboration – helping teams align on problems worth solving and solutions worth building
  • Contribute to design team culture, processes, and standards – exploring and helping others with cutting edge design techniques and workflows
  • Connect design work to measurable business outcomes
Who You AreExperience & Skills
  • 5-8 years of product design experience in consumer-facing digital products (web and mobile)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking—from problem framing and research through polished UI and measured outcomes
  • Deep expertise in Figma and modern design/prototyping tools
  • AI-native workflow: You actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Galileo AI, or similar) to accelerate research, ideation, copywriting, prototyping, or production—and you're excited to push further
  • Interaction design and visual craft: Strong instincts for layout, hierarchy, typography, motion, and accessibility – you are both aesthetically and usability driven.
  • User research fluency: Experience planning and conducting qualitative research, synthesizing insights, and translating findings into design direction
Mindset & Approach
  • Customer-obsessed: You genuinely care about understanding and solving real problems for real people
  • Strategic thinking: You see the big picture—connecting user needs to business goals, short-term wins to long-term vision
  • Clear communicator: You can articulate the 'why' behind design decisions in terms that resonate across disciplines, while remaining open to feedback and collaboration
  • Collaborative spirit: You thrive in the back and forth of building with PMs and Engineers
  • Bias for action: You're comfortable shipping and iterating rather than waiting for perfection
  • Ownership mentality: You take initiative, navigate ambiguity, and see problems through to outcomes—not just deliverables
Bonus Points
  • Experience designing AI-powered or generative features (recommendations, personalization, conversational UI, visualization tools)
  • Background in eCommerce, home/lifestyle, or marketplace products
  • Experience building and scaling design systems – without slowing down the team
  • Experience with Vibe Coding/Agentic Engineering – you’ve enjoyed building with AI, and you can’t stop thinking about it.
  • Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML/CSS/JS) or design-to-code workflows
Why Havenly Brands
  • Impact at scale: Your work will shape how millions of people design their homes
  • AI at the core: We're building the next generation of AI-powered design tools—you'll be at the frontier
  • Multi-brand portfolio: Work across diverse consumer experiences—from AI design services to artisan home goods
  • Denver or NYC: Join our Denver HQ (preferred) or New York team
  • Competitive compensation: Salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits
