At Secureframe, we are not just a company; we are at the forefront of revolutionizing cybersecurity compliance. Recognized as one of the industry's most innovative and trusted providers, Secureframe has consistently received accolades for our advanced technology solutions and commitment to excellence. With a robust portfolio of products that safeguard thousands of businesses worldwide, we have been featured in major publications such as Forbes’ next billion dollar startups, TechCrunch, and The Wall Street Journal for our transformative impact on the way companies achieve and maintain compliance standards.

As we continue to grow, our mission remains clear: to provide seamless, secure solutions that enable businesses to focus on what they do best. Joining Secureframe means becoming part of a team dedicated to professional excellence and continuous learning in an environment that values creativity and forward-thinking.

Secureframe is backed by top VCs including Kleiner Perkins, Accomplice, Gradient Ventures (Google’s AI Fund), BoxGroup, Village Global, and many more.

As a member of our product design team, you'll take ownership of a Secureframe product area. You'll be involved in the entire product development process  – from early research and visioning to adjusting pixels to launching.

You'll define and refine our design system, as well as influence team culture and how we work cross-functionally together. Help iterate on our design processes, from design critiques to product workshops.

We're a distributed, remote-first company (and have company off-sites when possible) that cares about collaboration, ownership, and growth.

If you enjoy complex problems, improving customer experiences, and iterating with a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you!

Location & Work Model

While Secureframe is a remote-first company, for this role, we have a strong preference for candidates who can work in a hybrid capacity from NYC. Remote candidates are still encouraged to apply

Secureframe highly values having employees working in-office to foster a collaborative work environment and company culture. For office-based employees (employees who live within a defined radius of a Secureframe office), Secureframe considers working in the office, approximately 30% of the time under current policy, to be an essential function of the employee's role.

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits for you and your dependent(s)
  • Flexible PTO
  • 401(k)
  • Paid family leave
  • Ground floor opportunity as an early member of the team

What you'll do

  • Designing end-to-end workflows across Secureframe’s core product areas, including audits, compliance readiness, frameworks, controls,  and federal compliance experiences
  • Owning design from early problem framing and UX exploration through high-fidelity UI and engineering handoff
  • Partnering closely with Product Managers to clarify requirements, scope solutions, and make thoughtful UX tradeoffs in complex, regulated problem spaces
  • Collaborate with Engineering to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and implemented with high quality
  • Contributing to and evolving Secureframe’s design system (Castle) to improve consistency and speed across teams
  • Reviewing designs and providing feedback to raise the overall design bar across the product
  • Participating in user research, usability testing, and customer feedback reviews to inform design decisions
  • Iterating quickly based on stakeholder feedback, technical constraints, and real customer usage

Who we're looking for

  • Strong end-to-end product design experience, from discovery and UX exploration through high-fidelity UI and engineering handoff
  • Proven ability to design complex B2B SaaS workflows, especially in regulated, enterprise, or technical domains
  • Excellent systems thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to design scalable, consistent experiences across large product surfaces
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product Managers and Engineers, including comfort navigating ambiguity and tradeoffs
  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluency in modern design tools (Figma) and experience working within and contributing to a design system
  • Experience thoughtfully using AI as part of the design process, such as for rapid exploration, prototyping, research synthesis, or improving design velocity and decision-making
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving environments with evolving requirements and limited process overhead
  • High ownership mindset, with the ability to independently drive work forward and follow through to shipped outcomes
  • Experience designing for Security, Compliance, Audit, or other highly regulated domains
  • Exposure to federal compliance workflows (CMMC, FedRAMP, GovCloud, or similar)
  • Background in Enterprise admin tools, Internal tools, or complex permissions-based systems
  • Experience mentoring other Designers or acting as a Design lead on cross-functional initiatives
