Job summary

Imagine redesigning service delivery from the ground up, equipped with AI that deeply understands what a great service should look like and how it interacts with customers and support staff. As a Product Designer, you’ll craft intelligent, user-centered solutions that redefine how businesses serve their customers.

As a senior product designer you will

• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to develop crafted detailed design solutions across the customer journey delivery and orchestration experiences
• Drive the core promise of Avantos: simplifying how businesses serve their customers.
• Contribute to and evolve our design system
• Advocate for the user and design process
• Shape team culture and champion design thinking within a world-class design and product team.

Your skills will include

• 2+ years experience building digital products, with the ability to design, prototype, and ship to development stakeholders
• Be able to break down big problems
• Expertise in Figma and design systems, enabling you to craft clear, intuitive user experiences that developers can easily implement.
• Ability to embed user centric thinking into your design process, balancing user mental models with business needs
• Ability to consider business needs, and balance speed, craft, and delivery
• A refined design sensibility with the ability to move beyond aesthetics and deliver solutions that truly serve the user and the business.
• Comfortable tackling ambiguity, breaking down complex problems into manageable, actionable concepts.

Nice to haves

• Experience working in in small teams or startups, and willingness to take a scrappy approach
• You can code
• Exceptional prototyping skills or experience working with advanced tools like Facebook Origami
• You are familiar with product and service design folks like Bret Victor or Lou Downe.
• You have worked with no-code workflow automation tools
