Senior Product Designer

We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Product Designer to take ownership of the user experience and interface of our complex B2B platform. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers, engineers, and data scientists, to design intuitive, engaging, and scalable solutions that enhance the real estate auction experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, remote, and data-driven startup environment, and is eager to make a significant impact on a growing product. You'll be a key player, working independently and bringing a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your expertise in both UX and UI design.

User Experience & Interface Design

• Design and iterate on user-centered experiences that improve navigation, usability, and accessibility across our web and mobile platforms.

• Develop high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design solutions to the team and stakeholders.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and continuously refine user workflows based on feedback and data.

• Collaborate directly with engineers to ensure the seamless implementation of design

Design System & Visual Identity

• Contribute to and maintain the design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all product features.

• Apply and evolve VendueTech’s visual identity to enhance the platform’s look and feel while adhering to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work proactively with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements and user needs into highly usable design solutions.

• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, design critiques, and stakeholder reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to drive design excellence.

• Leverage data from internal teams and user feedback to inform and refine your designs.

Problem Solving & Strategic Recommendations

• Identify and propose innovative design solutions that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

• Stay ahead of industry trends, especially in product development and emerging technologies like AI/LLMs, to proactively recommend improvements and keep our product experience competitive and modern.

• 6+ years of experience in product design, UI/UX, with a strong preference for experience with complex B2B products.

• A strong portfolio (website or PDF) demonstrating your experience.

• Experience with designing / contributing to design systems from scratch or using an existing library (e.g. Shadcn UI).

• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting and take full ownership of design projects.

• Experience with Figma and Design Systems is a must.

• Experience designing for both desktop and mobile platforms is highly desirable.

• A formal design education is preferred.

• Previous experience of working in a startup and Saas environment is an advantage

• Experience in motion design (e.g. Jitter or similar tools) and AI tools is a big plus
