About Posh

We are all social creatures, but the dominant “social” companies today have evolved into digital loneliness machines, driving isolation, anxiety, and mental health challenges around the world.

Human connection is lost. Posh is a beacon guiding us back.

Posh enables anyone to build an IRL community based on shared interests, while connecting consumers with the communities of people just like them. Founded by event organizers who were frustrated with the growing loneliness epidemic and the tools available to build their own event brand, we’ve built the ultimate platform for launching, monetizing, and finding IRL communities of people just like you. In just 5 years, Posh has grown to a team of 65, expanded to 7M+ users, secured $70m in venture funding, and facilitated over $300M in transactions.

About the Role

As the Senior Product Manager on the Consumer Pod at Posh you’ll join a close-knit, high performance team dedicated to transforming how people connect IRL through shared social experiences. You’ll play a crucial role in defining and bringing to life the features that over 7 million users will use to find IRL communities of people just like them.

What You’ll Learn & Achieve

  • Develop an Impact-Driven Product Strategy: Develop a roadmap driven by in-depth user discovery that ties success metrics to overall business objectives and user needs.

  • Develop & Test Core User Hypotheses: Work closely with a UX researcher and Product Designer to develop surveys & feedback sessions, define key pain points around socializing IRL, and incorporate user feedback into every feature we ship to consumers.

  • Define Requirements & User Stories: Translate ideas and user insights into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to establish the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ behind every feature you bring to life.

  • Execute the Product Development Lifecycle: Oversee & iterate on the entire product development process, collaborating closely with engineering and design teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.

  • Analyze and Define Feature Success: Collaborate with leadership, data & analytics, and other key stakeholders to set success targets, track performance, and create retros & follow-up plans that inform future decisions and maximize impact.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration & Feature Adoption: Act as the central hub of communication across engineering, design, marketing, customer success, support, and leadership to ensure features are not only shipped, but adopted as much as possible

Qualifications & Skills

  • Obsessed with Consumers: You have in-depth experience and an intense passion for working on consumer-facing mobile experiences that are used by millions of users. You understand the metrics that determine strong consumer conversion and retention and how to drive them with core product principles.

  • User-Centric Approach: You are passionate about understanding consumer behavior and have a track record of building products that tie back to research to solve real user problems.

  • Analytical Mindset: You operate from data > gut, comfortable analyzing robust dashboards and collaborating with technical stakeholders to build analyses that inform roadmap decisions. Bonus if you’re proficient in SQL and/or Lightdash!

  • Technical Aptitude: You hold a strong understanding of the software development process and have experience collaborating with engineers to understand and maneuver technical constraints and possibilities.

  • Decisive Prioritization: You have exceptional problem-solving skills and are able to quickly process multiple data points, opinions, and objectives to prioritize the most impactful work effectively.

  • Bias for Action: You have a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid iteration.

  • High EQ: You are a brilliant communicator ****with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders (from engineers to the CEO).
