As the Senior Product Manager, Data for the Digital Product team, you will oversee the execution of data-related projects from start to finish. You will work closely with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with our business goals. This role requires a combination of strong project management skills, a deep understanding of data workflows, and a passion for the music tech industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, manage, and execute a roadmap for UA’s internal data platform — supporting ecommerce, growth, marketing, and product optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data informs product development, feature iteration, onboarding flows, and customer journey improvements.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Analytics to prioritize and deliver high-impact initiatives, aligned with PLG objectives and broader company goals.
  • Drive data product development from concept through delivery, including roadmap planning, user stories, and QA.
  • Instrument key user flows and behaviors to surface actionable metrics for the product, engineering, and marketing teams.
  • Translate complex stakeholder needs into clear data requirements, technical briefs, and user-facing reporting tools.
  • Lead agile rituals for the data team, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate progress, outcomes, and ROI clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify data gaps, quality issues, or scalability challenges, and lead resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of product management experience focused on data or analytics platforms.
  • Proven experience contributing to growth/product strategy through instrumentation, analytics, and experimentation.
  • Deep familiarity with Segment or similar CDPs for data ingestion, delivery, and governance.
  • Expertise with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Omni, etc.) and web analytics (Amplitude, Heap, GA).
  • Working knowledge of experimentation platforms (e.g., LaunchDarkly, Optimizely) and A/B test design.
  • Experience with SQL; Python or R preferred for deeper analysis or collaboration with data science.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills — can align stakeholders across data, product, engineering, and marketing.
  • Familiarity with schema governance and event tracking best practices (Avo, Snowplow, etc.) preferred.
  • Knowledge of agile practices and ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for music tech and curiosity around how creators interact with digital products.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software product management, specifically in data
