Lead the incident management product at Datadog, addressing customer needs with a strong focus on streamlining outage response and enhancing product features.
The summary above was generated by AI

Customers depend on Datadog’s Incident Management product in crisis moments — when outages threaten their business — and your work will shape how teams respond and learn.

As a Product Manager II, you’ll own the product that turns chaos into calm: declaring incidents, rallying responders, coordinating remediation, and turning every outage into a learning opportunity that prevents the next one. This is a broad, technically rich product — you’ll own features across real-time UIs, automation, AI-powered summaries and recommendations, documentation and runbooks, task and incident state management, analytics, and deep integrations with third-party chat and video platforms.

You’ll own the features that reduce Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR) for some of the world’s most complex cloud systems, partnering closely with the rest of the product organization to deliver end-to-end incident response. Your work will be highly visible to customers and internal stakeholders and will shape how organizations run reliable services at scale.

Datadog is uniquely positioned to deliver best-in-class end-to-end incident response by surfacing the right telemetry (metrics, traces, logs), orchestrating responders through alerting and paging, and closing the loop with automation and incident management.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the incident process of our our dev, ops, and security customers
  • Own the end-to-end product management process for the Incident Management product within Datadog
  • Ship features to help our customers respond to outages faster
  • Be accountable for the growth of the Datadog incident management product
  • Work with Design and Engineering teams to develop product priorities and roadmaps that inspire our teams’ best work and deliver real value
  • Work with the Sales, Account Management, Marketing and Solutions teams to close deals and support existing customers
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the product and report on them to business and executive leadership
Who You Are:
  • An experienced Product Manager, ideally at a SaaS company
  • You are customer-minded with a high quality standard for the product to be delivered
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You have a strong sense of the day in the life of an engineer who holds a pager.
  • You have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We know not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That’s okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your experience, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits & Growth:

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Intra-departmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
  • An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds
  • Access to Inclusion Talks, our Internal panel discussions
  • Free, global Spring Health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+
