About Us:

Homebound is on a mission to make it possible for anyone, anywhere, to build a home using technology. Created by an experienced team of construction, real estate, design, and technology experts, Homebound is transforming the residential construction industry by improving the costly and inefficient process of building a home.

We’ve created an entirely new way to build homes with technology powering every stage from start to finish to provide a seamless experience for our customers. Homeowners across the country can choose where they want to live, select a home plan that’s perfect for them, then personalize and buy it, all online. Homebound has raised $150M in capital from leading venture capitalists like Google, Khosla, Thrive Ventures, and we’re scaling quickly in places like Texas, Colorado and Florida. Come build your future with us.

About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to help us accelerate how homes get built.

This is a broad, high-leverage role for a product manager who wants surface area. You will own critical parts of our platform end-to-end - the systems that price a home, schedule a build, manage cost and margin, coordinate trade partners, and give our teams the information they need to make faster, better decisions. Where you focus will evolve with the business, and you will be trusted to pick up and own new squads as our priorities shift.

The through-line is speed. Every week we take off a build cycle, every dollar of variance we catch early, and every decision we can automate compounds across every home we build. You will be measured on real operational outcomes - cycle time, cost accuracy, margin, throughput, adoption - not on shipping features.

Much of this work runs on genuinely complex data: cost structures, budgets and actuals, change orders, draw schedules, vendor pricing, and multi-month probabilistic schedules. We need the kind of PM who goes into the data personally, notices when a number does not reconcile, and cares about getting it exactly right - because our operators and our financials depend on it.

AI is not a separate track here - it is deeply integrated into the platform, and we expect it to be part of how every new feature gets designed. The default question on any problem is not “what screen does the user need?” but “how much of this can the system decide, predict, draft, or eliminate outright?” We want a PM who reaches for LLMs, agents, and applied ML as first-class primitives in the product, holds a clear view of where they genuinely outperform deterministic logic, and is equally clear-eyed about where they do not belong.

What You'll Do:
  • Own a portfolio end-to-end. Set strategy, define the roadmap, and drive execution from concept through rollout and adoption for the squads you own.

  • Go where the leverage is. Take on new squads and problem spaces as the business needs them, ramping quickly on unfamiliar domains without waiting for a handoff document.

  • Make the numbers trustworthy. Build products on top of complex financial and operational data - budgets, actuals, cost structures, schedules, vendor pricing - with the rigor that data demands.

  • Build AI into every feature. Treat AI as a default design consideration rather than a special project - look at each workflow and ask what the system can predict, decide, draft, or remove entirely, then ship it with real evaluation and quality frameworks behind it.

  • Define product with precision. Write clear, actionable requirements. Think through edge cases before engineering finds them. Prioritize on impact, effort, and long-term value.

  • Measure what matters. Define success metrics up front, instrument them, and run experiments to systematically improve cycle time, cost accuracy, and adoption.

  • Drive across functions. Operate independently across Construction Operations, Finance, Sales, Design, and Engineering, moving initiatives forward without heavy process.

What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of product management experience, including ownership of a complex, technical product.

  • Exceptional analytical rigor and comfort with messy, high-stakes data. You write your own queries, build your own models, and reconcile numbers yourself rather than waiting on someone else.

  • Experience with financial or operational data products - cost, pricing, margin, budgeting, forecasting, supply chain, scheduling, or similar - where accuracy is non-negotiable.

  • Genuine detail orientation. You catch the discrepancy nobody else noticed, and you sweat the edge cases that determine whether a workflow actually holds up in production.

  • A metrics-driven operating style: you define success quantitatively, instrument it, and hold yourself to it.

  • Strong technical fluency - comfortable operating alongside engineers and ML teams as peers, reasoning through system tradeoffs, and reading evaluations.

  • An AI-first instinct in how you design product. You look at a workflow and see what the system could decide or automate, not just what interface a person needs - and you can tell the difference between a problem AI genuinely solves and one where it adds risk without adding value.

  • Breadth and adaptability: a track record of owning multiple product areas, or stepping into new domains and getting productive fast.

  • 0 to 1 product building - hands-on experience taking a product from concept through launch to real-world adoption.

  • Exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate between operators, technical teams, and executive leadership.

  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, and drives outcomes cross-functionally without a playbook.

  • Interest in construction and the built environment is a plus. No prior industry experience required, but an expectation to learn the domain rapidly.

We are focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you’re excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply. To apply, please submit an application with your resume on the Career’s page.
