About the Role

PlayStation Studios is seeking a Senior Production Manager – Studio Operations to join our Head of Production organization. This is a high-impact role focused on improving how production operates across a portfolio of world-class game studios.

In this role, you will partner closely with development teams and cross-functional leaders to drive alignment, improve operational consistency, and help translate strategic priorities into effective execution. You’ll play a key part in enabling scalable, high-performing production practices across a spectrum of game development environments.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and enjoys working at the intersection of production, strategy, and operations.

What You’ll Do

Partner with Studios

  • Build strong relationships with development teams to understand production challenges, risks, and opportunities
  • Provide targeted support on high-priority initiatives and areas of need
  • Identify common themes across studios to inform broader improvements

Improve Production Operations

  • Establish and maintain clear, consistent reporting frameworks that support leadership visibility
  • Ensure project information is accurate, actionable, and accessible for decision-making
  • Support and manage key operating rhythms, including studio reviews and leadership forums

Drive Alignment & Execution

  • Translate strategic initiatives into clear, actionable plans for studios and partner teams
  • Collaborate with production, product, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment
  • Deliver structured, high-quality communication to support executive decision-making

Scale Best Practices

  • Document and standardize effective production processes and workflows
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational friction
  • Partner with central teams to align tools, processes, and ways of working

Provide Advisory Support

  • Help teams navigate ambiguity, change, and complex production challenges
  • Develop practical frameworks, recommendations, and plans that improve outcomes

What We’re Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Senior level experience in game development or game publishing
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex ideas
  • Experience working in cross-functional, collaborative environments
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and drive progress in evolving situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background working across production, product, program management, or operations
  • Experience supporting leadership decision-making or executive operating rhythms
  • Familiarity with scaling processes and best practices across teams

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$160,700$241,100 USD
