Job Overview

The Senior Program Manager – Strategic Initiatives & Transformation owns and drives BARBRI’s most critical cross‑functional initiatives, partnering closely with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into well‑sequenced, executable programs with measurable outcomes. This role serves as a central connector across product, technology, and business functions—ensuring alignment, momentum, and delivery discipline across complex initiatives.

The role requires strong program leadership, executive communication, and demonstrated expertise in change management and digital transformation, ensuring initiatives are not only delivered but successfully adopted and sustained. Experience supporting or leading AI‑enabled transformation initiatives is a strong differentiator.

This is a highly visible, high‑impact role that enables clarity, governance, and execution on BARBRI’s most important strategic work.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000
Location: REMOTE

Job Responsibilities

· Own and maintain the strategic initiatives roadmap, including intake, prioritization, sequencing, and portfolio visibility aligned to company objectives

· Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, cross‑functional programs, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and outcomes

· Translate strategy into execution through clear program charters, success metrics, milestones, governance structures, and reporting

· Serve as the connective hub across product, technology, and functional teams to drive alignment, remove blockers, and maintain execution momentum

· Facilitate cross‑functional planning, decision forums, and executive readouts; maintain program artifacts such as RAID logs, decision logs, and delivery plans

· Produce executive‑ready communications and reporting, including portfolio health updates, milestone progress, risks, and decisions required

· Lead change management planning and execution, including stakeholder assessments, readiness analysis, communications, training, and adoption reinforcement

· Partner with leaders to mobilize change sponsorship, equip managers, and ensure sustained adoption of new processes, platforms, or ways of working

· Drive digital transformation initiatives, ensuring business outcomes, enablement, and governance are embedded into delivery plans

· Support or lead AI‑enabled initiatives that improve products, operations, or decision‑making, with a focus on responsible rollout and adoption

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or other related field

· 8+ years of experience leading complex, cross‑functional programs or portfolios in a matrixed organization

· 5+ years of program or project management experience, with strong discipline in dependency management, risk mitigation, and maintaining a consistent execution cadence

· Proven experience owning and managing strategic initiative or enterprise program roadmaps

· Demonstrated expertise in change management, including stakeholder engagement, enablement, adoption measurement, and reinforcement

· Exceptional stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive alignment without direct authority

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, executive‑level narratives

· Demonstrates confidence and professionalism when communicating with senior leadership

· Demonstrated expertise leveraging Jira, Confluence, or similar tools to manage programs, dependencies, and cross‑functional delivery

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

· PMP, PgMP, Prosci, or Agile/Scrum certification

· Experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives, including systems, process, or operating‑model modernization

· Exposure to AI‑enabled transformation, such as automation, intelligent workflows, or AI‑assisted product or operational initiatives

· Experience building or improving portfolio and program management standards, templates, dashboards, or governance models

· Experience working closely with Product and Technology teams in agile or hybrid delivery environments
