We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Project Management team. This role is responsible for leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives related to launch planning and supply chain optimization across multiple brands in our portfolio. The Senior Project Manager will drive on‑time, on‑budget, and high‑quality execution while serving as a strategic partner to internal teams and external stakeholders.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Develop comprehensive project timelines and oversee end‑to‑end execution of initiatives, including product launches, in‑store merchandising, displays, sampling programs, and updates to existing items such as resourcing efforts, cost‑savings initiatives, and large‑scale artwork revisions.
  • Partner closely with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to validate timelines, anticipate risks, and proactively resolve obstacles that may impact project delivery.
  • Communicate and maintain all project timelines with clarity and precision, ensuring risks are visible, documented, and escalated appropriately.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and proactively escalate critical issues to leadership
  • Serve as the central point of communication for each project by leading weekly cross‑functional status meetings, preparing agendas and recaps, monitoring upcoming deadlines, communicating scope changes, and ensuring seamless workflow management under tight timelines.
  • Hold internal teams accountable for meeting project milestones and deliverables.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and solutions‑oriented team environment

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Provide clear, timely updates to leadership, including project status, risk assessments, and financial summaries to support informed decision‑making.
  • Maintain strong, proactive communication with fillers and manufacturing partners to ensure alignment on timelines, packaging requirements, quality expectations, BOMs, and fill and assembly instructions.
  • Collaborate with internal R&D partners and fillers to support formula development within established budget parameters.

Financial & Operational Oversight

  • Own project budgets and financial risk assessments to support business objectives.
  • Obtain supplier quotes directly or through cross‑functional partners (Packaging, Testing, Logistics) to support cost analyses and financial planning.
  • Support operational efficiency by identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to best‑practice development within the Project Management function.

Team & Department Support

  • Contribute to broader Project Management team initiatives and take on additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in cosmetics industry is strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the beauty industry.
  • Experience in one or more of the following categories is required: hair care, skin care, color cosmetics, fragrance, and home care.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; familiarity with Asana is a plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Highly organized, solutions oriented, and results driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as business needs evolve.
  • Ability to work in office a minimum of three days per week

What We Offer   

$125,000/yr - $135,000/yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for participation in a discretionary bonus plan based on individual and company performance.
