The Commercial Accounting Team is responsible for the revenue recognition, billing and reporting functions as well as providing input on the Company’s go to market strategy from an Accounting and Finance perspective. From accounting for multi-billion dollar transactions to automating across all our workflows, the Commercial Accounting team provides breadth, depth and strategic thinking to the order to cash cycle.
About the Role:The Senior Revenue Manager, New Product Introduction at CoreWeave is dedicated to ensuring the New Product Introduction (NPI) process is efficient and effective. This includes both ensuring proper revenue recognition and billing of new offerings as well as leading the approval process for the CFO organization. To achieve these objectives, this role will partner with Product Management, Revenue (Sales) Operations, IT, Legal, Support, FP&A and others on a regular basis. This person will also propose and assist in executing changes to the NPI process and related processes within the Commercial Accounting team to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
In this role, you will:
- Review NPI initiatives spanning new products and services to changes to CoreWeave’s go-to-market strategy for revenue recognition and billing issues.
- Draft technical revenue accounting memos and assessments of new initiatives as necessary.
- Collaborate with other NPI process stakeholders to address issues or opportunities involving NPI initiatives.
- Partner with other team members in Commercial Accounting to understand the impact on downstream processes from NPI initiatives and lead the enhancement of processes to be able to handle such initiatives in an automated fashion.
- Lead the NPI process for the overall CFO organization by ensuring other groups within the CFO org and Revenue Operations complete assessments timely.
- Propose and assist in executing changes to improve the NPI process and related processes in Commercial Accounting and other partner teams as applicable.
- Determine the standalone selling price(s) (SSP) of new products and services.
- Technical revenue (ASC 606) expert with 3+ years of experience in SaaS, software or infrastructure industries.
- 2+ years of experience with revenue recognition for usage-based SaaS offerings, including assessing and documenting analysis of new product or service initiatives.
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and public company industry experience preferred.
- Experience in assessing contracts for ASC 842 vs 606 treatment preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle intricate technical analyses and create clear, actionable reports or position papers.

The base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $198,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
