About the Role:

We are looking for a high-energy, commercially driven Senior Sales Director - primarily focused on Hedge Funds to join our rapidly scaling FinTech firm. In this role, you will be responsible for accelerating revenue growth by acquiring new hedge fund clients and expanding relationships across the broader buy-side ecosystem.

You will leverage your deep understanding of hedge fund workflows and your proven track record selling enterprise-grade solutions to articulate how BMLL’s unique data and analytics platform can transform trading, research, and risk operations.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious, market-savvy salesperson to join a company at the forefront of financial data innovation, and to make an immediate, measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and converting hedge funds and other sophisticated market participants.
  • Build trusted, senior-level relationships with portfolio managers, quants, traders, and technologists across target organizations.
  • Conduct rigorous research and discovery to deeply understand client strategies, pain points, data needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact demos and presentations that clearly communicate BMLL’s value proposition and differentiate us in the marketplace.
  • Partner with marketing to refine and evolve sales collateral, whitepapers, case studies, and product storytelling that support the sales cycle.
  • Actively manage pipeline, forecasting, and account activity in the CRM to ensure transparency and execution discipline.
  • Own the full commercial lifecycle, from initial engagement through contract negotiation, onboarding, and long-term account growth.
  • Maintain a pulse on market structure trends, regulatory shifts, competitor offerings, and hedge fund demand evolution to help guide commercial strategy.

Requirements
  • At least 5 years experience selling into Hedge Funds, CTAs, Multi-Managers, or systematic trading firms.
  • Demonstrated success closing enterprise deals with sophisticated financial clients.
  • Deep understanding of how hedge funds use market data, analytics, TCA, execution metrics, and research tools.
  • Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex data capabilities into clear, compelling commercial narratives.
  • A proactive, self-directed operator who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to relay client feedback and inform future innovation
  • Works proactively with US and London colleagues, ensuring best practices are shared and consistently applied across teams
