The Role:

The Sales Enablement Manager will architect, deliver, and continuously refine the programs, content, and skills that drive predictable revenue execution across Apryse's global field organization. This is a senior individual contributor role for an enablement professional who combines field credibility, instructional design rigor, and a data-first operating model. You will partner directly with sales leadership, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, and front-line sellers to translate revenue priorities into measurable enablement outcomes that move pipeline, ramp time, and win rate.

This role is built for someone who has carried a quota, lived the realities of the sales floor, and now wants to scale those instincts through programs, technology, and data.

Responsibilities:

Onboarding & Ramp

  • Design and operate a tiered onboarding program spanning SDRs, BDRs, AEs, AMs, and Customer Success, with defined ramp milestones and certification gates.

  • Benchmark ramp-time-to-first-deal and ramp-time-to-quota against historical cohorts and continuously reduce both.

Continuous Enablement & Methodology

  • Build a recurring cadence of skill, product, and competitive training prioritized against gaps surfaced in pipeline, win/loss, and conversation intelligence data.

  • Own deployment, reinforcement, and adoption of Apryse's sales methodology across the field.

Content, Playbooks & Field Tools

  • Develop and govern playbooks, battlecards, discovery guides, demo scripts, and competitive content in partnership with Product Marketing.

  • Maintain a single source of truth for enablement assets and drive measurable rep adoption.

Launch Readiness

  • Own enablement workstreams for product, pricing, packaging, and tooling launches, ensuring the field can position, demo, and close with confidence on day one.

  • Incorporate acquired technologies and acquired-company sellers into the global enablement plan.

Data-Driven Program Design

  • Instrument every program with leading and lagging indicators tied to revenue outcomes.

  • Pull from Salesforce, Gong (or equivalent conversation intelligence), Salesloft/Outreach, and enablement platforms to diagnose performance gaps and prioritize investment.

  • Publish enablement performance dashboards and quarterly impact reviews to the CRO, VP Sales & Revenue Enablement, and executive stakeholders.

Partnerships & Vendor Management

  • Source and manage external training partners, instructional designers, and enablement tooling vendors as needed.

Requirements:

Sales Background & Field Credibility

  • Quota-carrying experience strongly preferred. 5+ years of B2B sales or revenue experience, with at least 2 years in a quota-carrying or front-line sales management role highly valued. Direct experience selling SaaS, developer tools, or technical/API-led products is a significant advantage.

  • Field empathy. Demonstrated understanding of the daily realities of AEs, SDRs, and front-line managers, with the ability to translate that lived experience into credible enablement design.

Enablement & Program Design

  • 3+ years designing, delivering, and measuring sales enablement programs - onboarding, methodology rollout, continuous learning, and launch readiness.

  • Fluency in modern B2B sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message, SPIN, or similar).

  • Track record building or scaling enablement functions inside high-growth, PE-backed, or acquisition-active environments.

  • Strong instructional design instincts; able to design adult-learning experiences that drive behavior change, not just content consumption.

Data & Analytics

  • Data-driven by default. Strong analytical orientation; comfortable instrumenting programs, defining KPIs, and translating dashboards into program decisions.

  • Hands-on tooling fluency. Salesforce, conversation intelligence (Gong/Chorus), sales engagement (Salesloft/Outreach), and enablement platforms (Highspot/Seismic/Mindtickle).

  • Diagnostic mindset. Able to translate sales data into root-cause diagnoses and targeted interventions, not generic training.

  • AI-fluent. Comfortable using AI-assisted coaching, content, and analytics tools to scale enablement output and personalization.

Execution & Influence

  • Strong project management discipline with a track record of delivering on aggressive timelines.

  • Effective communicator at every level - capable of briefing executives one hour and coaching front-line reps the next.

  • Bias toward action, ownership, and measurable outcomes over activity for its own sake.

Compensation Philosophy

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, and the range listed reflects total compensation or on target earnings. The top end of the range is reserved for candidates with extensive experience and a profile that strongly aligns with the senior expectations of this role.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Uncapped commissions
  • A comprehensive extended benefits package including health, dental and vision for you and your family, with company paid offerings.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) is offered to support the ability to rest and recharge.
  • A great team environment and resources, supporting you to do the best work of your life and providing unlimited career growth potential.
  • Highly autonomous and entrepreneurial environment.
  • Annual recurring WFH allowance for you to purchase items you need for your home office.
  • Ongoing support for learning development so you can master your craft.
  • Work with the hardware you're most comfortable with (Windows or Mac).
  • Diverse and inclusive workplace where we all learn from each other.
