Role Overview
We are seeking a highly communicative, technically savvy Sales / Solutions Engineer to join our commercial team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between our engineering capabilities and business opportunities.
You will serve as the trusted technical advisor to our customers, owning the technical scoping process and actively driving revenue expansion through strategic upsells.
This is not a production development or coding role. Instead, your focus is on understanding customer workflows, translating business pain points into crisp technical requirements, and demonstrating how our product solves complex problems to close deals.

- Client-Facing Excellence: Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Consulting, or similar).
- Requirements Gathering: Exceptional ability to interview clients, dissect messy operational processes, and draft clean, structured technical specifications.
- Commercial Mindset: Comfortable navigating sales conversations, overcoming technical objections, and identifying natural hooks for upselling value.
- High-Level Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of modern software ecosystems, including API integrations, cloud environments, and data workflows (no production coding required).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of translating dense technical jargon into clear business outcomes.
Core Responsibilities
- Technical Scoping: Partner with prospective clients to discover, analyze, and document complex technical requirements and system constraints.
- Product Demonstration: Deliver tailored, high-impact product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate technical value to both business leaders and technical stakeholders.
- Drive Upsells & Expansion: Proactively identify expansion opportunities within prospective and existing client ecosystems, mapping their growing needs to our advanced product tiers and features.
- Collaboration: Act as the critical feedback loop between the field and our internal Product/Engineering teams to ensure customer requirements shape our product roadmap.
- Proof of Concept (PoC): Guide customers through the technical evaluation phase, answering architecture, security, and integration questions to ensure sales velocity.
