Position Summary: The Senior Salesforce Administrator leads the ongoing optimization, governance, and support of our Salesforce environment. This role partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions, improve user experience and adoption, and protect the security, integrity, and performance of the Salesforce ecosystem. The Senior Salesforce Administrator serves as the platform’s primary subject matter expert and drives continuous improvement across the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Mentor junior administrators and business systems team members, as needed
Essential Tasks:
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Salesforce platform, including users, profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, page layouts, custom objects, fields, validation rules, and flows
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Salesforce, including best practices, platform capabilities, and scalable administrative solutions
- Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Service, Marketing, Operations, and IT to gather requirements and translate them into effective system enhancements
- Design, build, and optimize automations using Flow, approval processes, and other declarative tools to reduce manual work and improve efficiency
- Manage data quality, governance, duplicate management, imports, exports, and ongoing data maintenance
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics that deliver actionable insight to leadership and business teams
- Lead release planning, sandbox management, testing coordination, deployment support, and change management activities
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, resolve user support requests, and drive continuous platform improvement
- Collaborate with technical teams on system integrations, security controls, and platform enhancements
- Develop documentation, training materials, and user enablement programs to increase adoption and improve the overall Salesforce experience
- Stay current on Salesforce releases and recommend enhancements aligned with business goals and platform best practices

Experience and Education:
- 10+ years of Salesforce administration experience in complex, enterprise-level environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Deep expertise in Salesforce configuration, security model, data management, reporting, dashboards, and automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud; experience with additional Salesforce products is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, manage competing priorities, and deliver scalable business solutions
- Experience supporting integrations, data migration efforts, and cross-functional system dependencies
- Strong understanding of release management, sandbox strategy, testing, and change control
- Experience training users and driving Salesforce adoption across multiple teams
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of Experience Cloud, marketing automation tools, or third-party integration platforms, preferred
- Basic understanding of SOQL, Apex, or API-based integrations to support collaboration with developers and technical teams, preferred
- Experience with Lightning Experience, Flow optimization, data governance frameworks, and AppExchange solutions, preferred
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods and business systems governance practices, preferred
Licensing and Credentials:
- Salesforce Administrator certification required; Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or other relevant Salesforce certifications strongly preferred
Systems:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens
