Apple Bank is seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to join our dynamic Technology Services & Engineering Team to play a key role in the development and implementation of Service Now solutions for our clients, with a strong focus on IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules. The successful candidate must have firsthand development experience, excellent problem-solving abilities, and possess a solid understanding of Service Now best practices, as well as effective communication skills to effectivity collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules with a focus on ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Create and maintain integrations with third-party systems and applications.
  • Develop and customize Service Now workflows, business rules, UI actions, client scripts, and other platform features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to the business.
  • Support the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and implementations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Participate in change management processes and adhere to governance policies for ServiceNow development
  • Communicate effectively with both technical/non-technical stakeholders, providing updates and technical solutions as needed.
  • Promote teamwork, collaborate effectively with senior management, manage projects, and foster positive interactions with colleagues across all levels of the organization.
  • Provide afterhours support as necessary and proactively share knowledge to enhance team expertise and efficiency. 
  • Perform other duties as requested.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university is preferred; CSA (Certified Systems Admin) Certification, CAD (Certified Application Developer) certifications preferred.
  • 10 years of recent ServiceNow development experience and architecture with firsthand development, configuration, and advanced capabilities (Workflows, Flow Designer, App Engine and more).
  • Proficient in building and debugging workflows using Flow Designer to automate processes.
  • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with various systems using mid-servers, connectors and spokes
  • Expertise in configuring OAUTH for secure access and authorization in Service Now integrations.
  • Provide technical leadership, resolve design issues, work closely with testing, quality assurance to ensure solutions are thoroughly evaluated and supported post-implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal.
  • Proficiency in Glidescript, HTML, CSS, Java Script, SQL, PL/SQL and web service integrations.
  • Solid understanding of web services and integration tools (REST, SOAP).
  • Customized scripting: ServiceNow catalog, email, workflows.
  • Proficient in designed form layouts, workflows, modules/applications.
  • Proficient in UI actions and business rules.
  • Must possess in-depth knowledge and firsthand experience with ServiceNow discovery, platform integrations, and cross-platform API integrations to ensure seamless data flow and system interoperability across diverse platforms.
  • Various forms, and associated client scripts, UI policies, including advanced customizations requiring modifications of UI/pages/macros required.
  • Strong ability to research and resolve unfamiliar technical issues, continuously expand existing knowledge, and collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure comprehensive solutions and effective issue resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of ServiceNow Platform capabilities, modules, and features; IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Experience with ServiceNow performance analytics, reports, dashboards.
