We’re looking for a conceptually strong, creatively hybrid Social Content Creator to join the Studio team at Code and Theory. This role is built for a modern, multi-skilled maker—someone who moves fluidly between concept, writing, art direction, and execution, and knows how each of those disciplines flex across today’s most influential platforms.

You’re equal parts creative thinker and hands-on doer—fluent in traditional tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, but just as comfortable prototyping in generative design programs like Weavy, Runway, Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Higgsfield, Veo, or whatever’s next. You understand that the best content doesn’t just look good—it performs, and you’re energized by building ideas that feel native to the platform, rooted in insight, and optimized for speed.

You’ll help lead content-first projects across top-tier clients and internal initiatives, including branded content, social campaigns, editorial series, thought leadership, and creative storytelling formats. You’ll guide junior creatives, partner with social strategists and motion designers, and help push the boundaries of what fast, smart, social first creative can be.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead the creative development of content and social-first projects—from idea through hands-on execution
  • Flex across writing, art direction, visual design, and motion guidance—building ideas that live natively in feed, on screen, and in culture
  • Craft platform-specific executions that respect the unique tonality, behavior, and pace of each format—Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, etc
  • Take short or open briefs and translate them into campaignable creative systems, modular content, or quick-fire storytelling formats
  • Use generative tools and AI workflows to accelerate ideation, design, and production—Runway, Firefly, ChatGPT, Veo, Higgsfield, Weavy, and more
  • Help evolve how we work—building systems, templates, and processes that blend human creativity with machine speed
  • Partner with tech and motion leads to explore new content formats and innovations in short-form storytelling
  • Understand what’s trending, what’s working, and what audiences respond to—bringing insights into creative work in real time
  • Create content with a performance mindset—understanding platform algorithms, community behaviors, and how to build engagement
  • Collaborate with social strategists and media partners to optimize creative for distribution and iteration
  • Guide and mentor junior designers, editors, and writers—elevating craft and pushing experimentation
  • Work closely with project managers, producers, and strategists to ensure smart, efficient workflows
  • Be a key voice in brainstorms, pitches, and creative presentations—helping to shape the creative bar for content across the agency

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Experience across social, content, and platform-first storytelling—within an agency, publisher, or in-house team
  • A strong portfolio that shows a balance of conceptual thinking and hands-on execution—including copy, design, and cross-platform content
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and generative tools (Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway, Veo, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of modern content formats, platform behaviors, audience dynamics, and creative performance metrics
  • Experience delivering work across a wide range of media: static, motion, editorial, live-action, and hybrid production
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills—you know how to pitch ideas and bring them to life fast
  • You bring sharp ideas and stylish execution to every project—whether it’s a 3-second scroll-stopper or a multi-part content series
  • You help define a new standard of AI-enhanced, high-performance creative that blends speed, craft, and relevance
  • You push the team to think more strategically, act more natively, and experiment more boldly—without losing sight of quality
  • You become a go-to creative lead for social-first, performance-minded content—trusted by clients and internal teams alike
