We’re looking for a Senior Software Architect — a true all-around badass engineer who can understand complex systems end-to-end, take complete ownership of the platform, and execute on high-level initiatives.
This person will serve as the right hand to leadership — someone who can see the big picture, make technical decisions with confidence, and roll up their sleeves to build, scale, and refine systems when needed. This is a senior-level, hands-on role for someone who thrives on ownership, autonomy, and making things happen.
- Take full ownership of the client’s core platform — architecture, codebase, and infrastructure
- Design and drive system architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Collaborate directly with leadership and cross-functional teams to align business goals with technical execution
- Identify weak points in the system and design robust, long-term solutions
- Oversee and mentor development teams, ensuring consistent technical excellence
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and propose thoughtful improvements
- Be accountable for delivery, system reliability, and long-term technical direction
- 8+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven background as a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or Architect on complex systems
- Strong backend and platform architecture experience
- Proficiency in Python and Django for backend development
- Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Solid understanding of system design, cloud architecture, and DevOps fundamentals
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead by example — hands-on, proactive, and execution-focused
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience with platform modernization or cloud migrations
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures
- Prior leadership or advisory experience in fast-scaling environments
- Brazil or US Based
- Open to %100 fully remote
The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
