As a senior engineer, you will contribute across the stack with a primary emphasis on backend systems. This includes designing, building, and maintaining scalable services and APIs, as well as contributing to product features end-to-end.
The current technology environment includes modern JavaScript frameworks, strongly typed languages, API-driven architectures, and a mix of relational and non-relational databases deployed on a major cloud provider.
Design and implement reliable, scalable backend systems.
Collaborate with other engineers to deliver complex product capabilities.
Maintain and extend integrations while ensuring systems can scale with growth.
Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and developer experience challenges.
Contribute to ongoing improvements in engineering practices and architecture.
Example initiatives may include improving how users interpret performance data, building unified data access layers, and handling large-scale ingestion of external data sources.
RequirementsIdeal Background
Several years of experience building and maintaining production-grade software systems.
