WHAT YOU'LL DO

Our products rely on sophisticated real time and batch processing of massive amounts of data to provide analytics and automated decision making. We are looking for an engineer with experience in large-scale systems engineering to help design and scale our next generation of data infrastructure. You would work on our Data Infrastructure team: working with consumers of Kafka such as Connectors and Streams in Java for the real-time pipeline, as well as Spark for the batch pipeline, collaborating with DevOps on AWS.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5+ years of professional experience building distributed software
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Intellectually curious, passionate, and inventive
  • Bonus:
    • You have professional experience working with and administering Kafka (double bonus for Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams), Hive, Hadoop, Spark or similar tools
    • You’ve built and maintained a stream processor or big data cluster at massive scale
