Datadog is looking for a senior software engineer to lead and grow the engineering team, building out our high-scale integrations with Google Cloud. As a senior engineer, you’ll be responsible for expanding and maintaining our API integrations with Google Cloud and other emerging clouds. The team owns multiple mission critical services contributing to the Infrastructure Monitoring product, as well as partners with other teams to expand support for Google Cloud (and others) throughout the Datadog platform.

What You’ll Do:
- Be technically involved with the team: setting technical direction, driving architectural discussions and contributing code to new and existing services.
- Partner with other teams and stakeholders within Datadog to shape our roadmap.
- Design and architect resilient solutions for distributed systems at scale.
- Mentor junior team members and help improve day-to-day practices and systems.
Who You Are:
- You have 5-8+ years of relevant experience
- You have experience working in a strongly-typed language, such as Go, Java, or C++
- You have a proven track record of executing and delivering
- You have built and maintained systems at scale
- You have some experience working in the cloud
- You have experience communicating and collaborating with other teams and stakeholders
- You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent experience
