We’re looking for experienced software developers, especially those with strong backend or full-stack backgrounds, who are excited to transition into the data space and apply their engineering expertise to modern, data-driven solutions.
This is a unique opportunity for engineers who want to evolve their careers and bring their software development experience into modern data platforms and large-scale data initiatives.
As part of this opportunity, the role includes an initial structured training and ramp-up period focused on modern Data Engineering tools and practices, including technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, and other key components of the data ecosystem. This onboarding is designed to help experienced engineers build domain-specific knowledge and transition successfully into data-focused projects while leveraging their existing technical foundation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support modern data pipelines and data platform solutions
- Work with structured and semi-structured data in scalable cloud-based environments
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders
- Help ensure data is reliable, scalable, and ready for analytics and business consumption
- Apply software engineering best practices to data-focused solutions
- Contribute to projects that support reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making
Hard Skills:
- Strong experience in software development, ideally in backend or full-stack environments with Python or another backend-oriented programming language
- Good working knowledge of SQL
- Exposure to cloud platforms or modern data ecosystems
- Familiarity with APIs, integrations, or data-related workflows
- Exposure to concepts such as ETL/ELT, orchestration, or large-scale data processing
Nice to have:
- Exposure to tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, Airflow, or dbt
- Relevant certifications, courses, or personal projects related to data or cloud technologies
Soft Skills:
- Genuine interest in building a long-term career path in Data Engineering
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proactive mindset and problem-solving orientation
- Strong communication skills
