About the Organization
Quality Core supports our premium streaming services, offering live and on-demand TV and movies, with and without commercials, both in and outside the home. Job Summary
In this role with the Quality Core team, you will never be bored. You will have the ability to touch all different technology stacks from Java, AWS, React, Spinnaker, and more. This role is responsible for developing frameworks, test infrastructure, and other tools that are necessary for QA to do their job quicker and more efficiently. There will be a great deal of collaboration not only between your team, through activities like Code Reviews and Mentorship, but with other teams within our organization to help develop solutions to their requests.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role

  • Design, architect and implement across services and clients for large scope testing frameworks
  • Ownership of daily engineering work; ideate, review design, build, code-review, test, launch, monitor and maintain
  • Actively mentor other engineers
  • Treat quality as a habit and enforce software engineering best practices and appropriate design patterns

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training

  • BS in Computer Science/Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience or software automation experience
  • Strong system design and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of APIs and developing Libraries
  • Advanced experience and understanding of cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Spinnaker, and Kubernetes
  • Does extremely well with communication, mentorship and collaboration skills
  • Strong teamwork ethic and strive for excellence

The hiring range for this position in NYC or Seattle is $142,600 to $191,100 per year, in LA, Glendale, and Bristol is $132,000 to $181,000 per year and in San Francisco is $152,000 to $201,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
