Rockstar Games is seeking a dedicated Senior contributor for our Software Engineering Support team focused on growing our online platform and providing industry-leading game experiences to our players. We are looking for someone who is passionate about games, eager for new challenges, and ready to continue our legacy of creating the greatest games in the world. 

This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.  

• The Rockstar Games Online Services team creates connected experiences that are found across our game franchises.
• Architect and maintain high-impact features to support the development of the Rockstar community and websites.
• Create innovative in-game experiences, including user-generated content.
• We build services and tools that support our consumer-facing experiences and our internal business needs. 

• Proactively diagnose and triage problems and escalate these within the teams you support; this may include fixing issues as appropriate.
• Document accurate context and reproduction steps to new and existing bug reports.
• Collaborate with software engineers and QA to develop test plans to ensure projects are stable and have appropriate automated test coverage.
• Handle deployments and follow-up issues and test failures.
• Assist teams to improve observability and debuggability of their products.
• Maintain robust documentation for processes and procedures. 

• 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering support. 
• Demonstrated experience with performance monitoring, logging and error tracking software.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent soft skills such as written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills in order to develop and maintain good relations amongst the teams across the Online Services org.
• Experience with shared code and source control.
• Professional exposure to modern JavaScript/TypeScript, React and C#. 
• Must be inquisitive, and collaborative with a solid work ethic.

• Knowledge of Rockstar’s game titles and a passion for playing video games.
