Role
We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team, with specialized expertise in leading  migration projects for PLM systems. This is a pivotal role where you'll lead complex implementation projects for new and existing customers, ensuring seamless migrations of legacy PLM systems including processes and data while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
You'll be the technofunctional expert who transforms and maps years of engineering processes and supporting data—Parts, BOMs, CAD files, change orders, quality records, and more—into efficient workflows within the Propel platform leading to optimal UX and healthy adoption.

What You'll Do

    Lead Legacy System  Migration Projects

    • Architect and execute large-scale migrations from legacy PLM/PDM/QMS systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, Agile PLM, and more) to the Propel platform

    • Facilitate business process workshops to map, design, and solution legacy process workflows in Propel by leveraging best practices and supported product and platform capabilities.

    • Lead data mapping sessions to extend Propel data model to support inbound source systems and integration to downstream.

    • Drive Project Success

      • Spearhead multiple client implementation projects concurrently, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high customer satisfaction

      • Collaborate with System Integrator (SI) partners to architect and execute innovative solutions

      • Conduct business process workshops to map customer requirements to Propel's capabilities, recommending optimal configurations

      • Provide Expert Consulting

        • Deliver high-level PLM and QMS business process consulting, influencing strategic decisions across diverse manufacturing industries

        • Advise customers on integrating Propel with CAD systems (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo) and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

        • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in data mapping and migration best practices and system optimization

        • Configure & Customize

          • Use Salesforce platform tools and Propel configuration capabilities to architect and optimize solution setup for client needs

          • Design, develop, and deploy custom components, utilities, and integrations in collaboration with third-party solution providers

          • Support Business Growth

            • Prepare compelling product demos and accurately scope data migration efforts for prospective clients

            • Contribute to the refinement of Propel's service offerings based on field insights

What You Bring

    Must-Haves:

    • 10+ years of hands-on experience with PLM or QMS systems, including multiple full-cycle implementations and system migrations

    • Deep expertise in business process design, mapping, and solutioning from systems like Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, Agile PLM, Aras, or legacy PDM platforms.

    • Demonstrated capability in detailed project planning, executive communication, and team leadership.

    • Proven ability to create and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences, both synchronously and asynchronously.

    • Experience with database management (Oracle, SQL Server) and understanding of data structures in PLM and QMS environments

    • Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver complex migrations on tight timelines

    • Outstanding communication skills—you can explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

    • Industry knowledge in manufacturing, medical devices, high-tech electronics, or semiconductor sectors

    • Nice-to-Haves:

      • Experience with Salesforce platform or solutions built on Salesforce

      • Knowledge of BOM management (EBOM/MBOM), change management (ECOs/ECNs), and quality processes (CAPA, NCR)

      • Familiarity with CAD integrations and Workgroup Manager tools

      • Experience with IPaSS or middleware platforms or similar integration tools

      • Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, ITAR, GDPR)
