Senior Specialist, Product Management - Emerging Payment Methods
Overview
The Senior Product Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of consumer core payments in Europe. This role focuses on emerging payment innovations, including Alternative Payment Methods (APMs), Stablecoins, and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). The ideal candidate will combine product execution skills with strategic curiosity, helping translate complex market dynamics into actionable product initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, build, and optimize next-generation payment solutions that meet evolving consumer needs.
Role:
• Key Responsibilities• Support the development and execution of product strategies for APMs, stablecoins, and CBDCs across European markets• Collaborate with global and regional product teams to ensure alignment, scalability, and regulatory compliance• Translate emerging trends and regulatory developments into product requirements and business opportunities• Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Sales) and external entities (e.g., fintechs, financial institutions, regulators,) to drive product commercialization• Monitor performance metrics and customer feedback to inform continuous product improvement
Job Requirements• Consolidate experience in product management, strategy, or fintech roles, ideally within payments or digital assets• Solid understanding of the European payments landscape, including APMs, blockchain-based assets, and CBDCs• Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, MiCA, ECB Digital Euro initiatives)• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity• Experience working in cross-functional teams and agile environments• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus• Willingness to travel across Europe as needed
