The Outbound Science and Technology (OST) team is an integral part of Chewy's rapidly growing Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Logistics organization. OST is responsible for building and managing all post-transaction fulfilment technologies before the four walls of the FC, e.g., fulfilment orchestration, order routing, delivery experience, cartonization, consolidation etc. We deliver Chewy boxes to the customers at the best possible speed and cost.
We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to define the vision, roadmap, and execution strategy for some these critical systems responsible for optimizing the packages per order and CX strategies.
This candidate will need strong technical and analytical expertise, deep understanding of fulfillment operations, and translate complex business and CX challenges into scalable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with software developers, data scientists, operations leaders, program managers, and senior stakeholders-balancing technical depth with strategic business insights. This highly cross-functional role requires a clear thinker and strong collaborator, responsible for aligning technical roadmaps with organizational objectives to ensure Chewy's outbound and capacity planning platforms evolve to meet both near-term operational needs and long-term business growth.

The base salary range for this role is $141,000 - $225,000.00.

What You'll Do:
- Define and drive the vision for packages per order and CX optimization capabilities, managing prioritization, backlog, and roadmap execution while acting as the primary point of contact for business and engineering teams.
- Partner with multiple engineering and science teams throughout the development lifecycle to translate operational challenges into clear, actionable technical requirements, ensure successful execution of the roadmap, identifying risks early and mitigating them effectively.
- Manage dependencies across multiple fulfillment systems and operational workflows, driving integration and efficiency in product delivery.
- Define, implement, and track key performance metrics for planning accuracy, outbound throughput, forecast reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver clear product documentation, vision docs, and leadership updates, ensuring alignment across technical and operational customers.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in supply chain optimization, and outbound automation to inform strategy and drive innovation
- Support and mentor other TPMs as needed
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, owning and driving a roadmap from concept to execution.
- Proven ability to write Vision docs, User Stories, Epics, and Use Cases, and work effectively with agile development teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to drive insights.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud computing, and microservices architectures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical and operational concepts for senior leadership.
- Experience building or managing outbound/post-transaction optimization platforms in e-commerce is a plus.
- Familiarity with data science and optimization techniques (forecasting, simulation, ML models, scheduling algorithms) is a plus.
- Passion for building systems that drive operational efficiency, scalability, and improved experience.

The base salary range for this role is $141,000 - $225,000.00.
- The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
