About Polymarket

Polymarket is the world’s largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized “house,” Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.

We're growing fast – both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.

About the role

Polymarket is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to bring structure and execution rigor to a fast-moving engineering organization. You'll coordinate across our engineering teams, making sure cross-functional initiatives ship on time while building the systems and processes we need to scale.

This is a foundational hire. We've grown quickly and don't have formal PM processes yet. You're not coming in to run a playbook. You're coming in to write one.

What you’ll do
  • Delivery & Execution: Drive end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives across backend services, infrastructure, and consumer-facing features. Own timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment for our highest-priority projects.

  • Cross-Team Coordination: Be the central point of coordination across engineering, product, and leadership. Find blockers before they become problems. Keep teams aligned on priorities and sequencing.

  • Process & Systems Building: Design and implement the frameworks, rituals, and tooling that give us visibility into what's shipping and what's stuck, without adding bureaucracy for its own sake.

  • Technical Translation: Bridge product vision and engineering execution. You'll need to understand our architecture well enough to scope work and manage dependencies across teams.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Management: Set standards for technical documentation and decision records that actually get used. Make it possible to work async and preserve what we learn.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Own communication with leadership and cross-functional partners. Clear, actionable updates on status, risks, and tradeoffs.

  • Team Development: As we grow, help build out the program management function. This may include hiring and mentoring additional TPMs.

What we’re looking for
  • 4+ years in technical program or project management, with time at early-stage startups scaling engineering teams (think 10 → 50+ engineers)

  • Consumer fintech or trading platform experience. You've shipped products where real money, real-time systems, and user trust are on the line

  • Track record of building PM processes from scratch, not just operating within existing frameworks.

  • Technical depth. You can read a spec, understand architecture tradeoffs, and hold your own with engineers. Prior engineering experience is a big plus

  • Strong organizational and communication skills. You bring structure to chaos and write updates people actually read

  • Familiarity with Linear, Notion, or similar tools. Opinions about what good project management looks like are welcome

  • (Plus) Experience at prediction markets, sports betting platforms, or trading exchanges

  • (Plus) Crypto/DeFi familiarity, including understanding of blockchain mechanics and on-chain systems

  • (Plus) Smart contract exposure and ability to scope work involving contract development or audits

  • (Plus) Background in market microstructure, liquidity systems, or order matching

Benefits
  • Competitive salary & meaningful equity

  • Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage

  • 401k match

  • Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories.
