We are seeking a Technical Program Manager, Growth to join the Technical Program Management team.
This role owns the end-to-end acquisition funnel from post-click marketing experience through onboarding and activation. You are accountable for improving signup conversion and activation rates, and for optimizing the funnel to attract high-value, long-lived customers.
You will operate at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data Science. While this role sits within the TPM organization, it functions as a Growth Product leader with direct responsibility for funnel performance and experimentation strategy.
Primary executive stakeholders include the VP of Technical Program Management and the CMO.
What you'll do- Own the full post-click acquisition funnel from marketing site entry through onboarding and activation
- Define and maintain the canonical acquisition funnel definition used across teams
- Drive measurable improvements in:
- Visitor → Signup conversion rate
- Signup → Activation rate
- Funnel progression efficiency
- Optimize for acquisition of high-value, long-lived customers, not just volume
- Partner closely with Performance Marketing to align channel strategy with funnel performance
- Advocate for marketing site experience changes when conversion data supports it (without owning site content)
- Define experimentation roadmap and prioritize growth bets based on ROI and impact
- Partner with Growth & Retention (Data Science) and experimentation teams to design and execute A/B tests
- Translate experiment results into strategic direction and next bets
- Develop and refine onboarding flows to accelerate time-to-value
- Consume and interpret analytics from GA, Pendo, and internal dashboards to identify funnel friction
- Co-own instrumentation strategy with Product Analytics to ensure clean funnel measurement
- Make fast, reversible decisions where appropriate, accepting short-term technical debt for validated growth gains
- Clearly communicate funnel performance, experiment outcomes, and tradeoffs to executive stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in Growth Product, Product Management, or Technical Program Management in a SaaS environment
- Demonstrated ownership of conversion and activation metrics
- Deep understanding of acquisition funnels and growth loops
- Strong fluency in growth methodologies, including:
- Funnel analysis
- Cohort analysis
- Experiment design
- Incrementality thinking
- Hands-on experience with:
- Google Analytics (GA)
- Pendo
- Product analytics platforms
- Ability to clearly articulate the full acquisition funnel and identify friction points at each stage
- Experience partnering with performance marketing teams
- Comfort working with experimentation teams and Data Science partners
- Strong data literacy (SQL familiarity is a plus, but not required)
- Ability to move quickly and prioritize high-velocity experimentation
- High comfort with ambiguity and iterative product development
- Sustained improvement in signup conversion rate
- Increased activation rate and reduced onboarding drop-off
- Clear funnel instrumentation and shared understanding of acquisition metrics
- High experiment velocity with disciplined prioritization
- Acquisition channels increasingly optimized toward high-LTV customers
- Strong alignment between Marketing and Product on funnel ownership
- Executive clarity on growth performance and tradeoffs
