Normal Computing | Incredible Opportunities
The Normal Team builds foundational software and hardware that help move technology forward - supporting the semiconductor industry, critical AI infrastructure, and the broader systems that power our world. We work as one team across New York, San Francisco, Copenhagen, and London.
Your Role in Our Mission:
As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will shape the future of our organization by identifying, engaging, and hiring the best and brightest minds.
You’ll partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to accelerate our hiring efforts. We move quickly but intentionally - focused on a high-signal, high-impact hiring process. You know how to calibrate fast, keep momentum high, and bring a point of view on the AI/tech talent landscape. You stay close to where talent lives and bring real insight into every step of the process.
We’re looking for someone who goes beyond traditional recruiting channels. You know how to find talent in places others overlook - GitHub, research communities, open-source projects, niche forums - and you’re creative and persistent in how you engage them. You enjoy crafting thoughtful outreach and building targeted sourcing strategies to reach world-class AI/ML talent. We hire selectively, and we want our new hires to raise the bar.
Responsibilities:
Craft and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier talent across AI/ML, software engineering, product, and other critical technical roles
Be the first voice candidates hear from us, helping them understand what we’re building and why it matters. Lead initial conversations, assess fit, and thoughtfully guide candidates through the interview process, ensuring a high-quality experience from first outreach through offer.
Build research and talent-mapping practices that give us a strong pipeline for current and future roles. Stay close to the talent market and share insights with hiring teams to inform decisions and sharpen our approach.
Use data to spot what’s working and what needs to level up across the recruiting process—always optimizing for a great candidate and hiring-team experience. Own and evolve the systems and tools that keep our recruiting engine running smoothly.
Partner closely with leadership and hiring managers to inform and stay close on current and future hiring priorities
What Makes You A Great Fit:
5+ years of experience in technical sourcing
A track record of creative sourcing methods to attract and close top talent
Strong written and verbal communication skills - you can craft outreach that is both technically credible and personally engaging
Curious and comfortable diving into topics related to AI/ML, deep tech, software engineering, and product to assess talent signals
Attention to detail and experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting software to manage candidate pipelines.
