Our mission is simple: provide faster, smarter, patient-centered stroke and neurology care  anytime, anywhere.

We combine medical expertise with innovative technology to empower clinicians, reduce door-to-needle times, streamline neurological workflows, and improve patient outcomes. As Sevaro continues to scale, our digital products play a critical role in supporting clinicians, hospitals, and patients.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to help shape the future of telehealth neurology tools at Sevaro. You will design intuitive, accessible, and efficient products used by clinicians during high-stakes neurological care.

This role requires a designer who is passionate about healthcare innovation, understands workflow complexity, and excels at creating interfaces that support fast and accurate decision-making.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, neurology experts, and hospital partners to build solutions that directly impact patient lives.

What You’ll Do

·       Lead the end-to-end design of Sevaro’s clinical and operational platforms (web + mobile)

·       Develop intuitive UI for real-time telestroke workflows, neurology assessments, documentation, and communication tools

·       Conduct user research with clinicians, nurses, and hospital staff to understand pain points and workflow challenges

·       Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and production-ready design specs

·       Partner closely with neurology specialists to translate clinical workflows into simple, elegant digital interactions

·       Improve and maintain Sevaro’s design system for consistency across products

·       Drive usability testing and continuously enhance product usability, speed, and accessibility

·       Advocate for user-centered design in a fast-paced, mission-driven healthcare environment

·       Provide design leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration

What You Bring

·       5+ years of professional UI/UX or Product Design experience

·       Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful interaction design and clean, modern visual design

·       Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and rapid prototyping

·       Experience designing for complex workflows, SaaS systems, or clinician-facing tools

·       Deep understanding of usability, accessibility, and human-centered design principles

·       Strong communication skills able to present design rationale to clinical and technical teams

·       Ability to think strategically and execute quickly in a high-impact environment

·       Self-starter mindset with the ability to lead projects independently

Bonus Skills

·       Experience designing for healthcare, telehealth, or clinical systems

·       Familiarity with HL7, EMRs, or medical device workflows

·       Motion design or micro-interaction skills

·       Understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS/React)

·       Experience working in a startup or fast-growth environment

Why You’ll Love Working at Sevaro

·       Mission-driven work that impacts patient outcomes and saves lives

·       Collaborative team with neurologists, engineers, and product leaders

·       Remote-friendly culture with flexibility

·       Competitive pay + health/vision/dental benefits

·       Opportunity to shape the future of teleneurology technology

·       A culture rooted in compassion, innovation, and clinical excellence
