We’re looking for a user-focused Senior Interaction Designer to craft intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling experiences for our web applications and websites. You’ll combine strong skills in interaction design, user-centered design, visual design, and user research with experience in integrating and designing for AI. A high-quality portfolio demonstrating these capabilities is essential.
What You’ll Do:

  • Design for People: Transform complex workflows into simple, scalable, and delightful user experiences.
  • Visual Design: Demonstrate strong visual design skills, including a solid understanding of design principles (balance, contrast, hierarchy, alignment, proximity, and repetition), color theory, typography, and layout, coupled with the ability to create visually appealing layouts that enhance usability and readability.
  • Bring Ideas to Life: Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications that clearly convey concepts and flows.
  • AI for UX: Show how you’ve used AI tools and methods to improve your design efficiency.
  • UX for AI: Design, or propose visionary approaches, for embedding AI in B2B product experiences.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Partner with Product, Engineering, and other teams to deliver cohesive solutions that meet user and business needs.
  • Champion Consistency: Maintain and evolve UX/UI guidelines to ensure visual and interaction consistency across products.
  • Advocate for Users: Proactively represent the end-user throughout the product lifecycle and help prioritize UX improvements.
  • Mentor & Share: Guide colleagues on design best practices and promote a culture of user-centered thinking.

 

You Bring:

  • 5+ years in product or UX design, ideally in insurance, financial services, fintech, or data-focused products.
  • Strong portfolio highlighting interaction design, user-centered methods, visual design, and research outcomes.
  • Proven examples of leveraging AI for design efficiency and/or creating AI-driven product experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey design decisions to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills.

 

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in accounting, investment portfolio aggregation, reporting, or related domains.
  • Familiarity with regulatory considerations impacting financial products.
  • Thought leadership in designing AI-enabled workflows for B2B solutions.
  • Experience with ADA compliance
  • Lead user research and usability testing to uncover insights and validate design decisions
