We are seeking a SVP, Client Executive to join our Investment Management team within Asset Servicing. This role is located in New York City, NY and Boston, MA.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, helping senior stakeholders achieve short- and long-term objectives while strengthening and expanding BNY relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client business and drive incremental revenue across the portfolio.
  • Lead regular client engagement and relationship reviews to ensure satisfaction, strategic alignment, and awareness of the firm’s capabilities.
  • Develop, execute, and report on relationship strategies and performance outcomes for assigned clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective relationships to support new business development.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of client and prospect relationships, including profitability, retention, and overall client experience.
  • Oversee a portfolio of existing clients and prospective opportunities, with a focus on deepening relationships, expanding wallet share, and generating new business.
  • Advise clients and prospects through a solutions-oriented approach that aligns the firm’s full capabilities to their strategic priorities.
  • Translate client strategy into actionable opportunities by applying a strong understanding of the firm’s solutions, value proposition, and market position.
  • Partner closely with client service, operations, marketing, legal, compliance, and other internal teams to support effective relationship management and ensure all business development activities are executed within risk and compliance guidelines.

  • Proven ability to establish, develop, and maintain trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of the financial services industry and client segment, including business models, market participants, emerging entrants, key trends, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, compelling messages for a range of audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.
  • Highly professional and effective in navigating a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of the firm’s product capabilities, with the ability to align solutions to client needs and deliver the full value of the organization.
  • Intellectually curious and committed to staying current on the firm’s products, capabilities, and evolving market offerings.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced or graduate degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience preferred, ideally within financial services and in support of client segments or products such as institutional investment managers, ETF issuers, or alternatives.
  • Experience in a client-facing, sales support, global capital markets, or product management role is strongly preferred.
  • Asset servicing experience is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of the relevant marketplace, competitive landscape, and key industry drivers within the region.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $238,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. 
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
