We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Product Manager to join our AI Hub team. This role is located in New York.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive the development of key products and solutions with significant impact across our platform and client ecosystem.
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert within the product management team and across the organization.
- Collaborate closely with VP Product Managers and Directors to ensure alignment and execution of product strategy and outcomes.
- It will be essential to building the Governance Automation capabilities that will underpin responsible AI deployment at scale.
- Lead the Governance Automation product domain, with accountability for defining and delivering the frameworks, tooling, and workflows that enable compliant agent development, deployment, and ongoing monitoring.
- This role will serve as the primary liaison between the AI Platform, Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders to ensure governance capabilities evolve with regulatory requirements.
- Influence product direction at a strategic level, including highly innovative or business-critical products.
- Lead product launch and go-to-market strategy, ensuring strong operational execution and measurable results.
- Provide cross-functional leadership and influence across engineering, design, and commercial teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or a related discipline — or equivalent work experience.
- 8–10+ years of product management experience, including creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.
- Prior experience in the financial industry preferred.
- Proven experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision.
- Deep knowledge of agile methodologies; experience coordinating multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds.
- Experience managing daily technical and design direction; ability to translate complex concepts into clear execution plans.
- Extensive experience and deep expertise in product management, with the ability to lead complex and strategically important product initiatives.

Compensation: BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short- and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
