About dub

Founded in 2021 in NYC, dub is building the first copy-trading platform where instead of picking stocks, you pick people and mirror their investments. We've built the first marketplace for connecting retail investors with investing talent.

Our mission is to simplify investing by making it about people selection, and hopefully onboard the ~50% of Americans who don't own a single stock and aren't participating in the greatest wealth creation engine of our times: the stock market. Job done right, we will rewrite the playbook for how the regular individual invests and transform global GDP.

Backing

We've recently raised over $30 million during our Series A funding round from visionaries who support our mission. Our institutional investors include Notable Captial, Neo, Tusk Ventures Partners, and Slow Venture, and our angels consist of partners from Sequoia and A16Z, Sandberg Bernthal Venture Partners, and the current or former CEO/Founders of Uber, Airbnb, Robinhood, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and TIAA.

About the role

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to own or collaborate across everything from strategically planning productions to developing creative for channels and placements across the full customer journey. Responsibilities

  • Lead the editing process from end to end - from raw footage to polished final cut - ensuring every piece of content across every customer touchpoint aligns with our brand and business goals
  • Optimize video content for performance by adapting edits for various needs (including ads, organic, and in-app)
  • Demonstrate ownership over our production workflows, ensuring high-quality footage, clean/clear audio, and efficient post-production handoffs
  • Leverage data, insights, and emerging trends to make the right editing decisions and experiment with new formats and styles

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional experience in video and content editing, as well as motion graphics, preferably within a fast-paced brand, agency, or high-growth startup
  • Passionate about the creative and editing space - you have a large network and stay on top of news and innovation
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to help create stories that also drive business outcomes
  • A balanced approach to your work - you’re creative yet data-guided
  • Highly proactive and owner mentality
  • Proven ability to manage through ambiguity - you don’t need a list of detailed requirements, but can figure out a way to get the job done and done well

What we offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from $80k-$120k, commensurate with experience, as well as equity
  • Opportunity for performance-based bonuses
  • 100% paid health insurance for employees with partial coverage for dependents

  • Lively office environment with fully stocked snacks, coffee, espresso, and other perks

Our Company Values (ACTT)

  • Accountability: Take Ownership
  • Collaboration: Invest In Each Other
  • Transparency: Break Down Walls
  • Tenacity: Exhibit True Grit and Win
