About the Role
Eleven Media is looking for an experienced Senior Writer to cover Hollywood television, reality tv and movies through well-researched reporting, analysis, and commentary. This is an editorial position, not an SEO content-writing role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and write timely stories covering Hollywood television, reality TV and movies.
  • Produce news coverage, analysis, explainers, reviews, and commentary.
  • Follow film and television developments, identify strong story angles, and verify information using official announcements, interviews, trade publications, and credible reporting.
  • Track major releases, casting news, production updates, renewals, cancellations, streaming developments, and awards.
  • Develop clear, well-supported arguments for analysis, review, and commentary pieces.
  • Select relevant, high-quality visuals for each story, including thumbnails, cover images, photographs, videos, and other supporting visual elements.
  • Work with editors to refine story angles, structure, clarity, and accuracy.
  • Manage multiple assignments and meet editorial deadlines.
  • Maintain the brand’s editorial voice and quality standards.
  • Remain flexible to cover major entertainment events, breaking news, and key television, movie, and reality TV premieres.


What You Will Need
  • Strong professional experience writing about Hollywood television, reality TV, movies, or the entertainment industry.
  • A portfolio of published entertainment reporting, analysis, reviews, or commentary.
  • Strong knowledge of the Hollywood and the film, television, and reality TV industries, including studios, networks, streaming platforms, major franchises, awards, and industry trends.
  • Excellent research, reporting, fact-checking, and analytical skills.
  • The ability to distinguish verified facts, reported claims, analysis, and opinion.
  • The ability to write clearly and accurately about television shows, films, reality TV, talent, and industry developments.
  • Strong entertainment news judgment and the ability to identify meaningful story angles.
  • Clear, engaging writing with a strong command of grammar, structure, and tone.
  • The ability to work independently, respond to editorial feedback, and meet deadlines.
  • Availability to cover time-sensitive stories when required.
  • The ability to produce original, independently written work. AI-generated or AI-rewritten copy will not be accepted.
