Job Description

We are looking for an SEO Content Specialist to join our team to accelerate our growth in the US market. The role involves creating best-possible, high-quality on-site content that inspires and helps customers, rather than keyword stuffing or building artificial links.

Your Mission:

  • Create high quality SEO content for the Wise US blog for US residents and US citizens abroad.

  • Optimise and improve existing articles to boost their performance.

  • Conduct keyword research to plan content that drives traffic and new customers.

  • Work with AI tools and freelance writers to create, proofread, and publish article copy.

  • Ensure our content follows legal, brand and PR guidelines.

  • Work with data using various SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMRush.

  • Collaborate across regional marketing and product teams.

Opportunities:

Operate in a high-potential search market, deepen your SEO skills, acquire new customers, work within an international team (52+ people from 20 countries), and occasionally travel to Wise offices globally.

Qualifications

About You (Required Experience/ Skills):

  • Experience creating SEO content and working with SEO strategies. Any relevant content writing or digital marketing experience is also welcome

  • Comfortable using SEO tools (GA, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMRush, data visualization platforms) and explain your analysis/findings to other people in an easy-to-understand way.

  • Thrives on autonomy and ownership.

  • Understanding of the US market and audience.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Keen eye for content quality, detail, and readability.

  • Great at building relationships with internal teams and external freelancers.
