The SEO Engineer is responsible for site auditing, technical analysis, competitive analysis, content engineering, and generative AI in support of growing Organic Search visibility for clients. Role permits full-time telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. Position requires less than 5% (i.e., not more than several days) of incidental travel to various locations for client and business strategization a few times per year. Requirements
Experience must include:
- 3 Years of experience with backend programming languages including Python or PHP;
- 3 Years of experience using Relational Databases including MySQL or BigQuery;
- 3 Years of proficiency with APIs and Google's Apps Script and productivity applications Microsoft Office and Google Workspace;
- 4 Years of experience leveraging search engine ranking factors including backlink authority and trust signals, technical site architecture, and user engagement signals and current SEO practices such as page speed and Core Web Vitals optimization, content engineering, and internationalization and localization;
- 3 Years of experience using HTML and CSS to implement and troubleshoot on-page SEO elements;
- 3 Years of experience using analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor and optimize SEO performance; and
- 4 Years of experience with industry-standard SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog for site audits, keyword analysis, and competitive analysis.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, a related field or foreign equivalent, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience in roles involving data analysis, automation, technical performance optimization, and digital strategy.
