Drive new B2B technology client acquisition through outbound prospecting and inbound lead management. Qualify leads, run discovery calls, pitch custom software/tech services, collaborate on proposals with technical teams, and maintain pipeline in CRM while conducting market research.
We are looking for a results-driven, highly motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our growth team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and managing inbound leads (like technology partnerships and custom software projects).
The ideal candidate possesses a mix of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of selling B2B technology services or software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound channels (LinkedIn, cold outreach, networking) and manage inbound inquiries.
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business goals and technical needs.
- Deal Qualification & Pitching: Conduct initial discovery calls, present company capabilities, and effectively pitch our custom development/tech services.
- Proposal Collaboration: Work closely with our technical and management teams to define project scopes, draft compelling proposals, and present solutions to clients.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline using our CRM, tracking leads from initial contact to closing.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify new market opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the software development, IT services, or SaaS industry.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You can confidently articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Proficiency with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email outreach tools.
- Mindset: A self-starter with a hunter mentality, high emotional intelligence, and a strong resilience to rejection.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
