Support Sephora wholesale account management through inventory analysis, sales reporting, SKU administration, Excel reporting/tool creation, marketing support, online audits, and field sales toolkit development.
JOB SUMMARY:
The overall responsibilities of the Wholesale intern will be to support the growth and development of L’Occitane Sephora North America Wholesale business. The right candidate should be excited by sales and growth, detail oriented and a proactive team player. She/He will be responsible for supporting the Sephora business in line with the L’Occitane brand vision, and being a champion for these businesses among internal and external stakeholders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure Sephora's assortment remains up-to-date while conducting ongoing inventory analysis.
- Create new tools to streamline daily administrative tasks for Sephora account management, focusing on enhancing reporting and tracking systems in Excel.
- Assist in all administration for the account (new SKU creation, asset forms, samples to buyers, gratis).
- Assist with marketing projects, such as planning sampling initiatives, managing ratings & review campaigns, coordinating local market activations, and handling creative requests.
- Pulling sales data from retailer reports and entering it into reporting files.
- Assist in developing Field Sales Team toolkits (store events, trainings, and best practices).
- Online site audits of PDP pages and SKU updates.
- Assist with presentation planning (ex Market Meeting).
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
- Timely completion of weekly sales reporting.
- Successful enhancement and optimization of reports and tracking tools.
- Development and delivery of the field team toolkit.
- Efficient management and ownership of start-to-end administrative tasks.
- Provide actionable insights and identify opportunities for improvement in daily account management operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors, Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree
- Prior experience in a beauty retail setting.
- 1-2 years of experience working with consumer products (especially beauty or luxury products) strongly preferred
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel (Pivot tables), PowerPoint)
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and communication skills needed.
- Must be detailed and have excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously.
- Possess a high level of integrity – must show good judgment and confidentiality at all times.
- Strong grasp of business strategy and the ability to prioritize opportunities.
- Must present a positive, professional and energetic attitude, be able to work in a team, be proactive and remain self-motivated
- Passion for cosmetics/beauty products with Interest in Retail/E-Commerce is a plus (Sephora, Ulta, etc.)
- Growth-oriented; results-driven, a healthy sense of urgency
