Develop and convert JavaScript applications to Power Platform, working with Power Apps and SharePoint. Involves design, coding, testing, and documentation in an Agile environment for a financial services client.
We are seeking a JavaScript/M365 Developer who will lead the evolution of our digital workspace by converting existing complex JavaScript applications into modern Power Platform solutions, while also building sophisticated custom components using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
You will work exclusively with a mature and impactful long-term client in the financial services industry. This role requires a balance of independent work and teamwork, focusing on advancing the client's agenda. You will work closely with a Product Owner and Scrum Master to handle the full product lifecycle from wireframing and prototyping to deployment and long-term support.
Requirements:
- JavaScript & Frameworks: Deep development experience with JavaScript, specifically React (for SPFx) and familiarity with Angular.
- Power Platform Mastery: Ability to analyze legacy JS solutions and re-implement them as Power Platform applications using:
- Custom component development via SPFx.
- Configuration of Model-Driven and Canvas Apps.
- Integration of Power Pages, Power BI, and AI Builder.
- M365 Ecosystem: Strong command of SharePoint Online as a backend, including building re-usable components, PnP web parts, and extensions to accelerate delivery.
- Automation & Logic: Expertise in Power Automate for designing complex, automated workflows (approvals, notifications, and document routing).
- Integration & Security: Proficiency in Microsoft Graph API, Search, and REST APIs for enterprise-grade integrations.
- Governance & Compliance: Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and retention policies to support regulatory and legal requirements.
- Agile Delivery: Experience developing proofs of concept, prototypes, and wireframes to move functionality from user stories to deployment.
Experience & Education
- 5+ years of experience in SharePoint Online development and integration with the Microsoft Power Platform.
- 5+ years of experience in Legal Document Management or Financial eDocs systems, managing large data volumes and complex permissions.
- 3+ years of proficiency with PowerShell and the Power Platform for automation and platform enablement.
- DevOps Expertise: Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps to manage the Power Platform application lifecycle is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: Must hold JavaScript or UI/UX certifications. Microsoft M365 Solution Developer (MVP status) is highly preferred.

The base salary range is - $150,000-$180,000
Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level.
