About On Site Expeditor 

Dutch-X is looking for an On Site Expeditor to join our team. Since our On Site Expeditors play an integral role in our organization, we are seeking an individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure success of our daily operations.

Here is a sampling of some of the responsibilities:

  • Closely monitor all DAs to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are accurately followed

  • Be responsible for knowing where each DA is at any given point (physically on site, out on assignment) throughout shift

  • Know and follow package delivery weight guidelines for each position

  • Ensure that all DAs are appropriately dressed wearing their Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), have an ID Badge, and are prepared to receive an assignment

  • Perform rescues of DAs stranded due to mechanical issues or other such reasons regardless of weather conditions 

  • Ensure all equipment is operational and ready for use for Delivery Associates

  • Work closely with Dispatchers and Administrators on work assignments to ensure all staff are utilized consistently through shifts eliminating unnecessary down time

  • Regularly monitor the time tracking of DAs out on assignment, identifying when a DA is moving beyond the 110 minute delivery time allotment

  •  Identify and investigate missing ‘ghost’ DAs

  •  Track all required information (job refusal incidents, ‘ghost’ DAs, shift discrepancies, other incidents) on the End-Of-Shift (EOS) report daily

  •  Support high demand delivery needs by completing delivery assignments when needed

  • Filter escalated concerns to appropriate internal departments

  •  Ensure that all policies and procedures are communicated, understood and adhered to

  • Performs other related duties as assigned
