The Small Business Card Portfolio Management Senior Associate on the Small Business Card team will drive the success of small business card products by understanding customer needs, behavior, and performance to develop enhancements and optimize the portfolio, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer engagement and growth. This position sits within the Chase Branded Cards organization of Card Services, a key business within Chase's Consumer & Community Banking group.

Job Responsibilities:
This role involves understanding small business needs and customer behaviors while leveraging data insights to drive strategic enhancements in collaboration with partner teams to optimize product offerings and implement solutions aligned with business objectives.
This role will:
- Empathize with small business owners and understand the unique needs of this segment
- Review and understand insights to lead change for small business card holders, using a data-driven approach
- Keep pulse on the external ecosystem to help drive the product strategy
- Help to plan and drive any enhancements, optimizations and/or refreshes in this customer segment
- Leverage deep analysis of customer behavior and performance to strategically drive impactful outcomes, enhancing product offerings and optimizing engagement for maximum business growth
- Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Risk, Lending, Pricing) to design and execute strategies that enhance risk management, lending efficiency, and pricing models across the portfolio
- Strategically develop and refine impactful customer messaging in collaboration with Customer Marketing Engagement teams, ensuring effective marketing of card benefits to maximize customer awareness, usage, satisfaction, and loyalty
- Collaborate with other internal stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Functions, Acquisitions, Product Delivery, Business Development, Rewards & Benefits, Travel, Market Research/Insights, Analytics, and Finance) to evaluate opportunities, identify gaps, and implement solutions
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working with data analytics
- Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to tell a story from large sets of data in order to influence decision making
- Strong collaboration, communication, relationship, and project management skills, along with an attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Previous experience at a financial institution
- Understanding of the key pieces of a Profit and Loss (P&L) statement
- Ability to lead and influence large teams of cross-functional internal stakeholders to lead business results
- Committed to designing messaging & experiences with a customer-first mindset
- Possess excellent senior-level communication skills, both written and oral
