  • Train State staff to conduct acceptance testing and participate in test execution, results reviews, interface reviews, and regression testing.
  • Prepare written evaluations of test results for USDA/FNS review and required approval.
  • During the planning phase, help define the testing requirements written into the EBT services RFP and maintain requirements traceability through testing.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of software or system testing experience, including at least 3 years as a test lead or test manager.
  • Experience leading system acceptance testing or user acceptance testing for a state government system, preferably in human services or public benefits (SNAP, WIC, TANF or Medicaid).
  • Experience writing comprehensive test plans, test cases and scripts, acceptance procedures and Go/No-Go criteria.
  • Experience coordinating testing with a third-party vendor or system processor and managing defects through resolution.
  • Experience training business users to perform user acceptance testing.
  • Strong written communication skills, including writing formal evaluations of test results for executive or federal review.
  • No current employment with, or contract to, an EBT processor.
  • Available for the full engagement, starting on or about January 1, 2027.
  • Three professional references from previous engagements.
