Lead batch modernization from IBM Mainframe to Windows .NET: assess batch components, design architecture, convert/test/migrate COBOL/JCL using JES2 emulation and automation, implement .NET batch runtime, assist DISA with scheduler/printing/EOM solutions, and support UAT and implementation.

- Create overall Batch Conversion Project plan Execute Batch components assessment and create Architecture solution Convert, test and Migrate G081 Batch COBOL/JCL components from the IBM Mainframe to windows .NET platform using Automated tool and Jes2 emulation Software to produce same functionality.
- Assist DISA to select and implement new Batch Scheduler Assure all report continue to be generated as-is on the .NET platform Assist DISA to establish new printing solution or select and implement new EOM software Adjust or replace with Functional equivalent current Interface (FTP, Queue, email,..) Installation and setup of .NET batch runtime software on DISA Server Support DISA during UAT and implementation phase
- Optional: Create Dynamic IMS and SQL data access layer for the in scope batch COBOL programKey Skills/Experiences Include: Application Architecture design experience (Legacy Modernization focus) IBM Mainframe solution architecture experience .Net frame work
- SOA Architect III, 6-10 years experience
- Client is seeking an experience Application Architect with experience designing and executing the approved solution to the .Net framework.
- The ideal candidate will have deep experience with IBM Mainframe technology and tools as a developer and designer and also possess a thorough knowledge of the .Net framework.
