THE OPPORTUNITY

Swish Breaks, headquartered in NYC, is redefining live shopping at scale. We operate at the intersection of sports, culture, and commerce, moving 100K+ orders a month across Whatnot, Fanatics Live, TikTok, and our own digital experiences. This isn’t a corporate gig. It’s a front-row seat to building the future of live commerce with a team that moves at the speed of culture and expects real ownership. If you want to shape what people watch, talk about, and buy in real time—this is the arena.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’re a fast, trend-savvy Social Content Producer who lives on Instagram and across social media. Your job is to turn Swish’s live streams, big hits, breakers, product moments, and culture into Reels, Stories, and posts that feel native, timely, and addictive. This is a freelance, high-velocity role reporting into our Manager, Social & Content. You’ll work alongside existing producers and help us increase daily output and quality especially around IG Reels, Story cadence, and trend-driven edits. If you’re the type who can spot a format before it’s everywhere, cut a clip in minutes, and ship with taste, you’ll do well here.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Turn live chaos into must-watch IG content, shipping Reels, Stories, and posts daily that feel native, timely, and addictive

  • Slice moments with precision, cutting short-form video with elite hooks, pacing, captions, and packaging that stop the scroll

  • Live inside the trend cycle, spotting formats, audio, and memes early and bending them to Swish without forcing it

  • Own real-time IG execution, covering live moments with fast-turn Stories and highlights while the hype is still hot

  • Operate like a content sniper, syncing daily with the Social & Content Manager on what matters, what ships, and what wins

  • Let performance guide you, not slow you, using views, retention, saves, and shares to evolve formats week over week

  • Keep the machine clean and fast, managing assets, versions, and captions so nothing breaks at scale

  • Guard the Swish voice, delivering content that’s confident, culturally fluent, and never corny

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

You have:

  • Real reps shipping content at speed on Instagram and Reels for brands, creators, or sports/media pages

  • A short-form portfolio that screams taste, velocity, and trend fluency, especially on IG

  • Serious editing chops, comfortable in CapCut, Premiere, or Final Cut, and fearless working from raw live footage

  • Killer instincts for hooks, pacing, subtitles, on-screen text, and packaging that drive retention

  • Zero ego under pressure, able to take feedback, iterate fast, and ship again – cleaner and harder

  • Strong copy instincts for captions, Stories, and CTAs that feel native, not branded

  • Operational discipline, keeping files, handoffs, and deadlines tight even when things move fast

  • Availability when it matters: nights and weekends, because that’s when the best moments happen

BONUS POINTS
  • Experience in live shopping, creator marketplaces, ecommerce, sports, and/or TCG

  • You are a culture warrior and thrive in expressive environments (streetwear, sports, gaming, media)

  • You love creators, fans, collectors, and the culture that surrounds them — this isn’t just a job to you

HOW WE WORK
  • Model championship culture: speed, precision, no ego, no drama, high accountability

  • High ownership: Leaders here solve, not wait

  • No ego: We review, take feedback, fix mistakes fast

  • Speed + judgment: You ship constantly

  • AI-first: If it can be automated, you automate it

  • In-office energy: Culture doesn’t build itself on Zoom
